Sorry for the lack of original ideas lately... my house is in shambles, as we are packing right now for the big move. So to tide you, and me, over here are some lovely creative pieces from Knack Studios. (The website is very cool, definitely check it out) This store just makes me want to push all my boxes to the side and break out my power sander! This packing business has really become a chore. Ok, but with no further ado:

So, it maybe a little early to be working on my Christmas list. Never the less... I really really want an antique library card catalog. Here are a few I found on flickr:

As I Live and Breathe...
I couldn't believe it when I came across this chandelier from Kitschy Galore on Flickr. She was inspired by a chandelier by Anthropologie. (pictured below) This is a lady after my own heart, as I too hope to some day make my own chandelier. (My inspiration chandelier is also from Anthropologie)

New Chairs... New Color Scheme?
I just bought these chairs and I love them! The wing back style looks so regal, comfy and classic... perfect for my house! (Well I don't know about the regal part) I bought them thinking I would recover them, but when I got them home I realised two things. One: the fabric is in really good condition. Two: it would take a ton of work to recover these properly. So I think, at least for the first while, I am going to keep these guys as they are. The fabric I am planing to use for the dining room chairs has this teal/forest green color in it, so I am going to make two rectangular pillows to sit on the chairs to try to tie them in. (The fabric on the left is the dinning room chair and pillow fabric, the middle fabric is for the couch, and the fabric on the right, was for the chairs, but I think it will be drapery now... we will see)Then if I can find one more fabric with the teal color and the blues, greens and browns to just tie everything in a little bit more I think this new color scheme will work... especially with hits of coral.

Random and Unrealated
So this has nothing to do with what I normally post about... such as crafts and home decorating, ...it's a new show that I love. It's a Canadian show... (yeah Canada!) called Being Erica. It's about a girl who, at least on paper, doesn't really have her life together. I personally love her life, but whatever. She has this list of regrets and gets to go back in time, with the help of her therapist (I know that part sounds weird, but it's not when you watch the show), to re-do her regrets. Anyway, you can watch the full episodes on the CBC website. (Scroll down to the bottom, the first episode is called Dr. Tom)
I kind of like posting about random things...

Our Couch & Fabirc Plans
I have talked about my couch many times but have yet to picture it.... here it is, in the glory of my parent's basement. I draped the fabric over so you can get a better idea of the final outcome. Three more weeks till move in day! I can't wait. This reminds me, does anyone has any good techniques for taking down wallpaper?
This is just a close up of the couch fabric and another fabric, of which it's use is yet to be determined.

Just In Time To Say Good Bye!
So we finished our back yard patio just before we decided to move! I love it... I wish we had more time to make use of it. (Umm... that is probably not true. I am super pumped to move) We did the patio with concrete and a plastic form to form the blocks, we put up patio lanterns around the roof and we got a fire chimnea and planter to complete to patio! (Hopefully some day we will be able to update the patio furniture)

First Fabrics and Found!
Me and my husband went into Fabricland and about 20 minutes later we left with three different fabrics and big smiles on ours faces. I couldn't believe how fast we choose everything! But I am super pumped to start recovered our thrift-find couch. Unfortunately I left all the fabric at my moms, where I plan to join her and my aunt in our sewing projects... plus my couch is there, but I took some swatches home:
